Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research
Jacquelyn M. Goss (B.A.) joins Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research as the Institute’s inaugural Edit/Media Specialist. A 2000 graduate of New York University’s Journalism Program, Mrs. Goss brings a wealth of experience gained from 10 years in the private sector and, most recently, 10 years serving as Community Education Specialist, Web Communications Specialist and District Webmaster in a public K-12 school district.
Mrs. Goss’s commitment to service extends beyond her professional interests to serving families experiencing food insecurity as a volunteer for Jon Bon Jovi’s Soul Kitchen, a non-profit community restaurant, and supporting animal welfare by serving as a volunteer marketing advisor for New Jersey’s Associated Humane Societies.
During her time as an undergrad, Mrs. Goss spent a year interning at NYU Langone Medical Center, during which time she developed a passionate interest in health care and the provision of quality care, especially toward vulnerable populations. She’s thrilled to be working with the Institute, coming full circle with her earliest desires to serve communities through public health and well-being.
