Webcast - April 19, 2004 - 6th Annual William T. Small, Jr. Lecture by Mary Northridge

The Institute will broadcast the 6th Annual William T. Small, Jr. Keynote Lecture from the 26th Annual UNC School of Public Health Minority Health Conference on Monday, April 19 at 3:00 PM. This event was originally planned for February 27 but was postponed due to a snowstorm.

The keynote lecture, "Sorting out the Connections between the Built Environment and Health: A Conceptual Framework for Navigating Pathways and Planning Healthy Cities" will be delivered by Mary E. Northridge, Ph.D., M.P.H., Associate Professor, Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health; Deputy Director, Harlem Health Promotion Center; and Editor-in-Chief, American Journal of Public Health.

Dr. Northridge will respond to questions and comments from the satellite and Internet audience until 4:30 PM.

The broadcast will be held in the Institute's conference room, 30 College Avenue.
