Podcast of Health Care Reform and the 2008 US Presidential Election: An Academic/Community Forum

A panel of Rutgers and UMDNJ scholars discussed the health care plans of presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama at this Forum on October 10, 2008. The speakers included Professors Allison Blake, Joel Cantor, David Mechanic, Alan Monheit and Cliff Zukin. The form was sponsored by the several units at Rutgers University including the School of Social Work, the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research, the Eagleton Institute and the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy; the School of Public Health at UMDNJ and the New Jersey American Association of Retired Persons. A video clip made by the Children’s Defense Fund is included in the podcast that is worth a look. The podcast was created by Tamara Swedberg at the Edward J.
